What Is a SnapLock Metal Roof Panel? A SnapLock panel is a type of standing seam roofing that features interlocking male and female legs, allowing for easy snapping together without the need for mechanical seaming. These metal roof panels are attached using concealed clips or a nail fin, ensuring that there are no exposed fasteners, which results in a clean and modern look.

How SnapLock Panels Work

Metal roof panels come with factory-formed raised seams, commonly referred to as standing seam roofing. The male and female legs engage under pressure, snapping together to create a continuous, watertight seam. SnapLock roofing features hidden clips that fasten the panels to the roof deck, allowing for thermal movement while maintaining a clean appearance.
